George William Picnic

George William Picnic of Bossier City, LA passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at the W.K. Bossier Health Center.

He was born August 9, 1925 in Raven, VA to the late John and Ruth (Price) Picnic; and moved to Bossier City, LA from Lake Wales one year ago. He was a farmer, of the Baptist faith, and a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army.

Survivors include his sons, Darrell and Gary Picnic; daughter, Kathy Picnic; sisters, Charlotte Compton and Opal Osborn; brothers, Jay Osborn and Paul Osborn; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, February 17, 2012 and the Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales with Rev. Wrynn Collins officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
