George Donald “Don” Kuchler, 77

George Donald “Don” Kuchler of Winter Haven passed away Friday, June 3, 2022 at Spring Lake Rehabilitation.

He was born October 19, 1944 in Poughkeepsie, New York to the late George and Anne Kuchler; he moved to Winter Haven from Lakewood Ranch 16 years ago. Don was a retired manager for Sears, Target, and Ryland Homes and a veteran of the United States Army and National Guard. He was a member of Christ Community Church in Winter Haven and enjoyed golfing and boating. He and his wife traveled all over the country in a motor home.

Don is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lynne Kuchler; daughter, Teri Long (Dale Metz) of Debary; son, Mark Kuchler of Bedford, Texas; sisters, Patricia Rikittke (Roger) of Phoenix, Arizona, and Nancy Rabolt of San Francisco, California; grandchildren, Allison, Jordan, and Jeffrey; and his dog and buddy Max.

A private memorial service with military honors will be held at Lake Ashton Clubhouse. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Association ( www.michaeljfox.org ).
