George Donaldson

George Donaldson of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Life Care in Winter Haven.
He was born September 22, 1929 in Montgomery, Alabama to the late George Atkins and Cleo (Price) Donaldson; he has been a resident of the area since 1959 coming from Miami, Florida. He owned a Mobile Home Park and Laundry Mat in Lake Wales. He was a practical joker and never met a stranger. George was a veteran in the United States Marine Corp serving during the Korean war.
Preceded in death by his sisters, Jeanene Brown and Carol Reed; great-granddaughter, Hannah Beth Donaldson; and daughter-in-law, Debbie Donaldson.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Geraldine Donaldson; daughter, Linda Outler and husband, Marvin of Lake Wales; sons, Alan Donaldson and wife, Laura of Lake Wales and Dale Donaldson of St. Cloud; brother, Edward Donaldson and wife, Pasha of Cape Coral; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends and family Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
