George R. Crawford

George R. Crawford of Sevierville, TN passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at his winter residence in Lake Wales.

He was born March 19, 1948 in Abbeville, SC to the late William & Annie Crawford; he has been coming to Lake Wales as a winter residence for four years. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Local 150 Chicago, was of the Lutheran faith and served in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed shopping, traveling in his RV and was a Nascar fan.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Jane A. Crawford; daughters, Kelly Ann Crawford of Iowa and Gina R. Kropff of Syracuse, NY; son, Bruce Beveridge of Bridgeview, IL; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
