Genny Lee Waters

Genny Waters of Babson Park passed away Friday, March 23, 2018 at her residence.

She was born January 11, 1943 in Arab, Alabama to the late Hughie and Evelyn Knight; she came here from as a child from Arab, AL. She was retired from Florida’s Natural and was a member of Grace Pointe Church in Winter Haven. She enjoyed watching Family Feud and you couldn’t call her during her soap operas. She was an avid Elvis fan and liked going to the Hard Rock Casino.

Genny was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Waters in 2014; and a grandson, Matthew.

Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Waters of Hudson and Janet Partain and husband, Rick of Babson Park; son, William David Waters of Lake Wales; brother, Leltion Knight and wife, Ann of Lake Wales; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2018 and the funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Brother Joe Herd and Rev. Jeremy Cook officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
