Geneva Mary Childs of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023 at The Club at Lake Wales.

She was born September 2, 1924 in Pittsburg, Indiana to the late Thomas and Effie Roberts; she moved to Lake Wales from Burlington, Indiana in 1977. Geneva was a homemaker and member of First Christian Church of Lake Wales. She was a great storyteller and loved to dance.

Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Jones; second husband, William Childs; and sons, Cecil Jones and Paul Jones. She is survived by her sons, Herb Jones and wife Liz of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and Mark Jones and wife Carrie of Frankfort, Indiana; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
