Gene Lapp

Marvin Eugene “Gene” Lapp of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Winter Haven Hospital.

He was born January 23, 1931 in Knoxville, Iowa to the late Clarence and Effie Lapp; he moved to Lake Wales from Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1995. He was a retired insurance sales representative and of the Catholic faith. He played baseball in his younger years and enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with his family.

Gene is survived by his wife, Katherine L. Lapp; daughter, Cindi Holliday of Lake Wales; son, Thomas E. Lapp of Lake Wales; brother, Dennis Lapp of Wisconsin; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
