Gene Hogue

Gene Hogue of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012 at his residence.

He was born July 16, 1953 in Moorhead, MN and came here from Fargo, ND six years ago. Gene was a truck driver, a member of Lake Pierce Fishers of Men, and enjoyed fishing.

Gene was preceded in death by his father, Earl Hogue. Survivors include his wife, Rhoda Hogue; daughters, Emily Hogue (Justin Marsh) of Lake Wales and Krista Hogue Berg (Mike) of Mapleton, ND; sons, Kyle Nashawaty of Santa Anna, CA and Jared Hogue of Fargo, ND; mother, Shirley Hogue of Moorhead, MN; sister, Elizabeth Ann Hogue of Fargo, ND; brothers, James Hogue of Fargo, ND, William "Bill" Hogue of Moorhead, MN, Ted Hogue of Minneapolis, MN, Myron Hogue of Fargo, ND, and Timothy Hogue of Inverness, FL; two grandchildren, Aiyana Marsh and Brady Dukart.

Visitation will be held 1:00 PM until the funeral service at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales, with Rev. Paul Huggins officiating.
