Gene Fritz Cords of Lake Wales, Florida passed away on January 29, 2022.

He was born December 9, 1925, in Miami, Florida to the late Ernest and Gladys Cords. Gene retired as an electrical engineer and was highly active with the Christian Missionary Alliance Church and loved antique car clubs.

Gene is preceded in death by his wife Leona Cords; and is survived by his niece Kay Rider of Haines City. Service will be held at Mario Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales on Friday February 4, 2022, at 10:00 am. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.marionnelsonfuneralhome.com .
