Genaro A. Lopez, Sr.

Genaro A. Lopez, Sr. of Auburndale passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017 at his home.

He was born June 15, 1936 in Lares, Puerto Rico to the late Jose Del Carmen Lopez and Maria Adelina Lopez; he came here 10 years ago from Miami. He was a retired assemblyman for Altas Metal in Miami. He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed classic cars.

Genaro was preceded in death by his brother, Jamie Lopez. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Luz E. Lopez; daughter, Elsa Worley (Mark) of Lake Wales; sons, Gene Lopez, Jr. of Riverview and Alberto Lopez (Paola) of Clinton, WI; sisters, Maggie Lopez, Delin Lopez and Hilda Lopez all of Puerto Rico; brothers, Jose Lopez and Hector Lopez both of Puerto Rico; and six grandchildren.
