Gavin Brian McCallister, 50

Gavin Brian McCallister of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023 at his residence.

He was born July 30, 1973 in South Africa to Brian and Jill McCallister; he moved to Lake Wales from North Carolina five years ago. Gavin worked for Drive Line and enjoyed playing video games and listening to gospel music. He kept his faith right up until his passing.

Gavin is survived by his parents, Brian and Jill McCallister of Lake Wales; and brother, Steve McCallister and wife Amy of Raleigh, North Carolina; and niece, Bea McCallister of Raleigh, North Carolina.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2024 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. Al Harrell and Dr. Scott Markley officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Wales Memorial Gardens.
