Gary Eugene Hodge

Gary E. Hodge of Lake Wales passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring.

He was born July 17, 1939 in Lake Wales to the late Lee H. & Mary Hodge; and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a retired environmental supervisor for Citrus World, was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd and was a veteran of Vietnam, serving as a chief warrant officer in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was proud to maintain his relationships and bonds with the men he served with in the Coast Guard and enjoyed working in his yard.

Gary was preceded in death by his daughters, Vikki Androsky and Christina Kyrk. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Hodge; step-daughters, Lori and husband, Andy Allison of Bettendork, IA, Sarah Grenier of Lake Wales and Danielle and husband, Ian Rylott of Mulberry; sister, Beverly Dampier of Lake Wales; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held 11:00 Am Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd.
