Gary Lamar Henson, 70

Gary Lamar Henson of Satsuma, FL passed away Saturday January 15, 2022. He was born September 3, 1951, in Jena, LA to the late Glenn and Thelma Henson. Gary was a self-employed ceramic tile setter for new home constructions. He was a member of the Poarch Creek Indians of Alabama. He loved to fish, hunt and gamble.

Gary is survived by his life partner of 32 years, Debbie Henretty; his daughter Michelle Leyva of Frostproof; his son Michael Henson of Milton; his stepdaughter Greta Snyder of Satsuma; and stepson Michael Henretty of Atlanta, GA; and his sister Glenda Ellis of Frostproof. He was also a grandfather of 13 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 2 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Saturday January 22, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at the Frostproof Church of God. Interment will be held at Silver Hill Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.marionnelsonfuneralhome.com .
