Gary Stuart Darling

Gary S. Darling, 74, of Lake Wales, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, in Sebring, FL.
He was born August 16, 1949, in Buffalo, NY to the late Stuart and Hazel (Love) Darling, he moved to Lake Wales in 1992 coming from New York.  He served his country in the United States Army and worked as a machine operator for International Paper in Auburndale.  He loved motorcycles, working in his garden, being outdoors and bird watching.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Gail Darling of Lake Wales; daughter Tracey Maiorana (Joseph) of Buffalo, NY; sons Michael Darling (his late wife Brenda), and Jay Darling and fiancé Terri all of Buffalo, NY; step sons Shawn Blackmer (Deborah) of Orange Park, FL and Shannon Blackmer (Crystal) of Callahan, FL; sisters Carol Malcomb (Wayne) and Colleen Herr all of Buffalo, NY; brother Stuart Darling (Mary) of Buffalo, NY; 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 1st, from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Wales.
