Gail H. Kelley

Gail H. Kelley of Tampa passed away Thursday, August 13, 2009 at the Life Path Hospice Facility in Temple Terrace.

He was born August 12, 1941 in Frostproof, to the late Hiram W. and Lola (Carter) Kelley; lived in Lake Wales from 1942-1959 and moved to Tampa two years ago. He attended West Side Baptist Church, is a veteran of Vietnam, served in the U.S. Navy for 30 years, serving on the USS Yorktown, USS Yellowstone, and the USS Guam.

Survivors include his daughters, Charlene Zeigler of Newnan, GA, and Christine Vednos of Saucier, MS; son, William Kelley of Port Orange, FL; sisters, Lavinia Scolaro of Tampa, FL, Betty Boucher of Tampa, FL, and Gloria Young of Clearwater, FL; brother, Calvin Kelley of Sebring, FL; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Emmett Kelley.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 15, 2009 at the Lake Wales Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Life Path Hospice, 11125 N 52nd St, Tampa, FL 33617 or to a charity of your choice.
