G W Sowell, 37

G W Sowell of Lake Wales passed away Friday, July 8, 2022 in Lake Wales.

He was born May 25, 1985 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Ronnie and Dora Hill; he has been a Florida resident since he was 17 years old and moved to Lake Wales from Winter Garden in February of 2022. G W was a fleet mechanic and loved riding motorcycles. He never met a stranger and enjoyed joking around and making everyone laugh. He was a hardworking loving father, husband, and family man.

G W was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Hill. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Wilda P. Sowell; daughters, Isabelle and Skylar; son, Tyler; mother, Dora Hill; sisters, Sandra, Melinda, Kandy, and Catrina; and brothers, Ronnie, Frank, Ronald, and Kyle.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
