Fumino Martin, 77, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2008 at her home in Lake Wales due to cancer.
Born October 4, 1930 in Moji, Japan; she came here from Browns Mills, NJ 18 years ago. She was a retired government AFFES employee and the teacher of her Japanese dance group, Fujino-Kai.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Waylon Martin of Lake Wales; children, Waylon Leon Martin of Orlando, Cheryl Ross of Atco, NJ, and Richard Martin of Browns Mills, NJ; sisters, Yoshiko Umegaki and Yoko Urabe both of Japan; brother, Masahiro Nagata of Japan; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales. Private family burial will take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
