ROCKLAND, MA--Frederick Richmond Holbrook, Jr. of Rockland, Massachusetts, died of heart failure Tuesday (Oct. 03, 2006) at the Lake Wales Medical Center in Lake Wales, Florida. He was 65.
Born February 10, 1941 in Brockton, MA; he moved here from Rockland, MA 2 years ago. He was a retired letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He was of the Catholic faith, a member of the Knight of Columbus, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and National Association of Letter Carriers.
Survivors include his daughter, Barbara Ann Barbuto of Rockland, Mass; sons, William Ellis Holbrook of Rockland, Mass, Frederick Richmond Holbrook III of Rockland, Mass; sister, Dorothy Durgin of Weymouth, Mass; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Private family memorial services are scheduled.
