Coal Miner
ARCADIA -- Mr. Freddie D. Thomasson of Arcadia died of heart failure Monday (Feb. 20, 2006) at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. He was 63.
Born in Utica, Ky., on Feb. 15, 1943, he moved to Arcadia from Greenville, Ky., eight years ago. He was a coal miner. He was an Army veteran and served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Pine Level Methodist Church.
Mr. Thomasson is survived by his wife, Beverly Thomasson; sons, Richard T. Thomasson, M. Sean Thomasson, both of Booneville, Ind.; brothers, Jerry Thomasson, Kenneth Thomasson, both of Greenville, Danny Thomasson, Bremen, Ky.; sister, Terri K. Crews, Madisonville, Ky.; four grandchildren.
