Freddie Maye Dixon, 86 of Lake Wales, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Life Care Center of Winter Haven.
She was born January 6, 1928 in Lake Wales, Florida to the late Mack and Maggie (Stembridge) Gilliam and has been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a retired Quality Control supervisor in the Citrus Industry. She was a member of New Harvest Worship Center. She was devoted to church and became an ordained minister, she ministered at Grace Healthcare once a month. Her lifelong passion was serving the Lord.

Survivors include her Daughters Margaret (Douglas) Brown of Bartow, Florida, Mary Hasty of Winter Haven, Florida; Son Perry (Vicki) Batson of Lake Wales, Florida; 11 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 14,2014 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Livingston officiating. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:00 PM until service time.
