Freda Triplett Sharpe

Freda Triplett Sharpe of Frostproof passed away Thursday, September 26, 2013 at her residence.

She was born October 15, 1935 in Morehead, KY to the late Tom & Rosa Vance; and she came here from Michigan in 1970. She was retired from Watson’s Pharmacy and was a member of God’s Family Assembly in Frostproof. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Freda was preceded in death by her first husband, Lindsey Triplett Jr and her second husband, Earl Sharp. Survivors include her daughter, Sherrie Whiteaker Collins and her husband, Wrynn of Frostproof; son, Ron Triplett and his wife, Tonnia of Fort Meade; brother, Oscar Vance of Ohio; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am Monday, September 30, 2013 at the God’s Family Assembly Church in Frostproof with Rev. Wrynn Collins officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
