Freda Lee Rhodes, 77

Freda Rhodes of Mulberry passed away Monday, July 1, 2013 at the Bartow Center due to complications associated with diabetes.

She was born September 3, 1935 in Carrollton, Ga. to the late Olen and Frances (League) Whitehead. Freda has been a resident of the area for 60 years moving here from Georgia. She worked with Cargill in the fruit processing industry and was of the Christian faith.

Freda was preceded in death by her husband and daughters Frances, Sandra, and Theresa. She is survived by her daughter Tammie and husband Jeff Mills of Mulberry, sons Robert and his wife Mabel Rhodes of Lake Wales, James Bennett of St. Pete, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
