Fred Allison Groover Sr.

Fred Allison Groover Sr., 62, of Lake Wales, died of an aneurysm on October 1, 2005, at his residence.
A native of Frostproof, he was a lifelong resident of the area.

He was a service advisor for Fields and Hutson Cadillac.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mack A. Groover and brother, Billy Groover.

Survivors include his wife, Ella Faye Groover of Lake Wales; three sons, Jeffrey Groover of Germany, David Groover and Al Groover; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Macri of Winter Haven; two stepsons, Steve Jones of Lake Wales and Terry Jones of Winter Haven; mother, Mary Belle Groover of Frostproof; two brothers, Leon Groover and Lonnie Groover, both of Frostproof; a sister, Marjorie Garrard of Frostproof; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales. Graveside services will be held at noon Wednesday at he Silver Hill Cemetery of Frostproof.
