Franklin Delano Bagwell, Jr.

Franklin Delano Bagwell, Jr. passed away Thursday May 20th at Lakeland Regional Health in Lakeland.  Frank was born on July 18, 1956 in Lake Wales, Florida.  He fought a long tough battle but in the end his heart gave out and he went to be with the Lord.  He loved his family and absolutely cherished his 4 grandchildren.  He spent many years hunting and fishing but loved his work as well and could constantly be found working.  He was owner of Bagwell Lumber Company in Frostproof where he worked his entire life starting in childhood.  He was also owner of Livingston Groves and took much pride in producing quality citrus and maintaining beautiful groves.  He had friends everywhere and loved all of them.

Frank is survived by his wife of 44 years, Judy, his son, Franklin Delano Bagwell III, his daughter Laci Bagwell, and his grandchildren Easton, Marlee, Karsyn, and Ean. He is also survived by his mother, Peggy Bagwell of Frostproof.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Haypond Ranch, 800 Old Avon Park Road in Frostproof, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come and share memories of Frankie and enjoy dinner in honor of a life well lived.
