Frank Tucker

James “Frank” Tucker, 81, of Babson Park passed away at the Somers Hospice House in Sebring on Saturday, July 16, 2016.

He was born April 6, 1935 to the late Henry Holt and Julia Bell (Watson) Tucker in Lake Wales; and was raised by his step-mother Clara Mae Tucker. He worked in the citrus industry as a care taker most of his life and was of the Christian faith. He loved hunting, fishing, ranching.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Dorothy Inez Tucker of Babson Park; his children, Linda Inez Wilson and her husband, Mike of Crystal River, Jimmy Franklin Tucker and his wife, Karen of Babson Park and Karen Kae Edwards and her husband, Keith of Lake Wales; his grandchildren; Tiffany Smith, Kandi Futch and Tara Goltzene; two step-grandchildren; Melissa and Tabetha; and three great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Chaplain John Holloway officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Somers Hospice House at 1110 Hammock Road, Sebring, Florida 33870-6222.
