Frank H. Petherick Jr.

Frank H. Petherick, Jr. of Lake Wales passed away Monday, October 5, 2009 at his residence.

He was born September 8, 1942 in Boston, MA to the late Francis Henry and Rita Grace (Mills) Petherick, Sr.; and came to Lake Wales from Boynton Beach in 2008. He was a salesman for Evergreen Irrigation Company, and was a member at the First Assembly of God. He enjoyed doing home improvements, gardening, fishing, and hanging out with his best friend Buddy. He was just getting into computers and was very involved with church.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanne L. Petherick, Melony Ann Castillo; daughters, Regina G. Wilson of Pennsylvania, , Francina M. LaForgia of Port St. Lucie; sons, Donald F. Petherick of Lake Worth, FL, Daniel E. Petherick of West Palm Beach, FL; sisters, Rita Jamason of Stuart, FL, Kathy Otto of Massachusetts; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the First Assembly of God in Lake Wales, with Rev. Walter Nelson officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, First Assembly of God Building Fund, or Polk County Humane Society (Winter Haven).
