Frank J Dupatz

Frank J. DuPatz, 88, died Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at his residence in Lake Wales, Florida. He was born March 11, 1926, in Collinsville, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lou DuPatz; his parents, Frank and Caroline DuPatz; his brother Richard DuPatz; and his sister Rita Marks.

Frank lived in Lake Wales for approximately 25 years and had many close friends in the community. For the past 13 years, Frank resided at Genesis Pointe Retirement Community where he was a past member of their board of directors.

Frank is a veteran of World War II having served as a private in the United States Army. As an entrepreneur, Frank owned various businesses throughout his life which included Hill Top House Restaurant (California), Gold Star Sporting Goods (California), residential developer, dry cleaner, and farmer. Frank was also a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.

Interment is at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
