Francisco Martinez

December 3, 1941 — March 13, 2011

Francisco Martinez of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011 at the Good Shepherd Hospice facility in Auburndale.

He was born December 3, 1941 in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico to the late Pedro Martinez and Maria Gonzalez; and came to Lake Wales from Hollywood, FL four years ago. He was an air craft parts machinist, and of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Awilda; brothers, George Martinez of Hollywood, and Johnny Martinez of Winter Haven.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, March 16, 2011. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
