Francisca Torres of Frostproof passed away Friday, December 10, 2021.

She was born October 4, 1935, in Churintzio, Michoacan Mexico to the late Celestino Torres and Apolinar Perez. Francisca was a homemaker and enjoyed singing and dancing.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Francisca is survived by her husband of 67 years, Rodolfo Montanez; daughters, Maria Marta Montanez and husband Pedro Martinez of Avon Park, Teresa Montanez and husband Jose Pena of Avon Park, Guadalupe Montanez and husband Jose Lopez of Mascotte, Maria Montanez and husband Ignacio Maldonado of Mexico, Laura Montanez and husband Guillermo Solorio of Ft. Lauderdale; sons Vida Montanez and wife Alicia Avina of Avon Park, Luis Montanez and wife Maria Lopez of Frostproof, Dario Montanez and wife Xochitl Pulido of Ft. Lauderdale, Rodolfo Montanez and wife Annabel Jimenez of Mascotte, and Pedro Montanez and wife Anarosa Zapien of Frostproof. Francisca had many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday December 17 ^th , 2021, at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday December 18, 2021, at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof. Interment will follow at Silver Hill Cemetery.
