Francis May Grider

Francis May Grider, 92 of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Brandywyne Nursing Home in Winter Haven.

She was born August 4, 1922 in Marion, Illinois to the late John Oliver and Myrtle Mae (Jack) Phalp and has been a resident of the area since 1981. She was a retired Machine Operator for Smoler Brothers a Sewing Machine Shop. She was a member of Keenagers and a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Grider in 1991 and son, Louis Grider, Jr. in 1985

Survivors include her son, John Grider of Lake Wales; sister, Corlie McIntire of Monmouth, Illinois; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
