Frances B. Stowell

Frances B. Stowell of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born June 18, 1927 in Glascow, New York. She has been a resident of Lake Wales since 1984 coming here from Northampton, Mass.

She was a retired Bookkeeper for Scott Paper Co., Volunteer with Bok Tower Gardens, member of V.O.I.C.E. with the Lake Wales Police Department and Lake Wales Medical Center, she called Bingo and was involved in several other groups; she enjoyed being a recipes demonstrator at Publix and was of the Catholic faith.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Hubbard Stowell in 2002.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen Mattia of Framingham, Mass; son, Edward Hayes of Holliston, Mass; 4 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren

Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 6:00 pm Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
