Frances Webber Pitts, 76, of Frostproof, Florida, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring. She was born on August 8, 1939, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to the late George Hiram and Burl (Straughn) Peavey and she has been a lifelong resident of this area. She was a retired Citrus Packer. Frances was an active Sunday School Teacher and a member of First Baptist Church of Frostproof. Frances loved and was proud of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed classic country and gospel music. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Roy Eugene Peavey and James Edward Peavey Sr., and her sister Queen Elizabeth Peavey Blackburn. Survivors include her sons, Randy Webber and wife Linda of Princeton, Alabama, and Eddie Webber and wife Debbie of Frostproof; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, June 5, 2016 with funeral services at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Frostproof with Rev. Darrol Hood officiating. Interment will be held at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
