Frances Edwards

E. Frances Edwards of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010 at her residence.

She was born March 5, 1939 in Lake Wales to the late William Levi & Susan L. Jones; she was a lifelong resident of the area. She was retired from Publix and worked for several years at Lowe's and The Video Habit. She was a member of the Waverly Baptist Church and enjoyed watching Sunday services on TV, family times and reading.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, J. Wayne Edwards in 1987. Survivors include her sons, Mark Edwards of Lake Wales, Scott Edwards (wife, Carmel) of Lake Wales and Jason Wayne Edwards (wife, Janice) of Lake Wales; sister, Billie Williams (husband, Preston) of Waldorf, MD; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 until 1:30 PM, Friday, July 9, 2010 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
