Frances E. Campbell

Frances E. Campbell of Lake Wales passed away Monday, April 2, 2012.

She was born February 4, 1924 in Oak Hill, WV to the late Fred & Ada Gertrude (Armstrong) Treadway; she came here from Seminole in 2006. She was a homemaker and a member of the South Lake Wales Church of God. She was a good cook, was very artistic with crafts and enjoyed watching football and baseball on TV.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Campbell; a son, James Roger Campbell; and her sister, Pauline Hammond. Survivors include her sons, Douglas Campbell (Linda) of Swords Creek, VA, James H. Campbell III (Sandra) of Babson Park, Karl Campbell (Anna) of Ocala and Fred Campbell of Brandon; sister, Edith Cottle of Sarasota; brother, Fred "Buzzy" Treadway of Seminole; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held 10:00 am Friday, April 6, 2012 at the South Lake Wales Church of God with Rev. Bob Beckler officiating.
