Frances Lillian Bishop of Frostproof passed away Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Kenilworth Nursing Home in Sebring.
She was born January 14, 1917 in Grand Rapids, MI to the late A.B. & Lena (Nichols) Cass; and she came to Frostproof from Michigan in 1970. She retired from the C&R Family Restaurant in Frostproof and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Frostproof.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Bishop; parents; two daughters, Betty Martin and DeLorma Branch; and two brothers, Orlin Cass and DeVere Cass. Survivors include her daughters, Cherie LaPalm (Ron) of Frostproof, Linda Riddell (Darvin) of Mountain Home, AR and Terrie Eberhard of Michigan; sons, Bill Martin (Lois) of Cadillac, MI, John Danes (Margaret) of Allegan, MI, Ace Danes of Russellville, KY and Dell Danes (Brenda) of Frostproof; 33 grandchildren, 81 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in Frostproof with Rev. Brian Smith officiating.
