Florine Dunn

Florine Dunn 89, of Raleigh, North Carolina, formerly of Frostproof, Florida passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013 in North Carolina.

She was born April 20, 1924 in Daleville, Alabama to the late Charles L. and Rosie Mae (Smothers) Sheppard and has been a resident of Raleigh since 2006. She was a Homemaker, a Dallas Cowboys Fan, enjoyed Bowling and was a member of Southside Baptist Church of Frostproof.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Perry Dunn in 2003

Survivors include her daughters, Glenda Messick Stilwell of Brandon, Florida, Janice Messick O’Hara and husband George of Benson, NC, Gail Messick Perlaki and husband John of Raleigh, NC; son, Jim Brackin and wife Jean of Cross Junction, VA; 13 grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home of Frostproof with Rev. Darrol Hood officiating.
Interment will be held at the Silver Hill Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Friday, November 8, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral Home.
