LAKE WALES -- Mrs. Florence Elizabeth Ellington of Lake Wales died of heart failure Tuesday (Jan. 17, 2006) at Lake Wales Medical Center. She was 82.
Born in England on Oct. 3, 1923, she came to Lake Wales from Half Moon Bay, Calif., in 2004. She was a retired quality control leader for Eaton Corp. in Batavia, Ill. She was a Land Army veteran in England. She was a member of The Rebekah's in Half Moon Bay. She was a Baptist.
Mrs. Ellington was preceded in death by her husband, Eyler Erving Ellington. She is survived by her daughter, Nora Boyer, Lake Wales; sons, Erving Ellington, Illinois, Joseph Ellington, Jeffery Ellington, both of California, Richard Ellington, Frostproof; brother, Harry Middleton, England; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
