Fernando Daniel Castro, 77
Fernando Daniel Castro of Clermont passed away Saturday, July 1, 2023 at AdventHealth Lake Wales.
He was born April 10, 1945 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico; he moved to Clermont from Orlando five years ago. Fernando was a Postmaster for the United States Postal Service and a veteran of the United States Army who served in Vietnam. He was a huge fan of baseball, especially The Mets. He loved his hometown of Arecibo, Puerto Rico and playing Dominos. Fernando was a proud grandpa and love his family dearly.
Fernando was preceded in death by his wife. He is survived by his daughter, Alicia C. Fernandez and husband Roberto of Clermont; and granddaughter, Melody Ariel Fernandez.
A graveside inurnment will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 4, 2023 at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
