FERNAND FAUCHER, 82

Ideal Super Market Owner

LAKE WALES -- Mr. Fernand "Fern" Faucher of Lake Wales died of cancer Monday (Jan. 2, 2006) at The Groves Center in Lake Wales. He was 82.

Born in Manchester, N.H., on Aug. 13, 1923, he came to Lake Wales from there 14 years ago. He was the owner and operator of Ideal Super Market in Manchester for 32 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 79 in Manchester and the 1000 Men of the Precious Blood Monastery. He attended Tower Lake Club House Chapel.

Mr. Faucher is survived by his wife, Arline Faucher; daughter, Linda Proulx, Lake Wales; brother, Edgar Faucher, Manchester; sister, Doris Guimond, Manchester; and one granddaughter.

Memorial services will be at noon Friday at Tower Lakes Club House chapel.
