Felix Costa

Felix Costa, 84, of Frostproof, passed away at Advent Health in Sebring, FL on Friday, July 28.

Born July 29, 1938, in Pinar del Rio, Cuba, to the late Liberato Costa Diaz and Maria del Carmen Hernández Arencibia, he moved to Frostproof from West Palm Beach 23 years ago.

He loved to farm, take care of his animals, loved his family, and loved to joke with people.

He is preceded in death by his son, Julio A. Costa in 2016, and his brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Paula Costa of Frostproof; daughter Beatriz Ramos and son Jose Costa and his wife Loyda both of Frostproof; brothers Juan I. Costa, Pilar R. Costa, Pedro L. Costa and Everardo Costa all of Florida; grandchildren Alicea, whom he raised, Julio, Alexander, Ramon, Paula, Raquel and Samuel; and two great grandchildren Landon and Joseph.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 4th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof.
