Faye P. Martin

Faye P. Martin of Lake Wales passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the Water's Edge Assisted Living Facility.

She was born July 14, 1926 in Arcadia to the late Johnny Mack & Mae (Sapp) Partin; she came to Lake Wales from Tift City, GA in 1947. She was a retired bookkeeper from Fort Electric and was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church.

Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Theo F. "Foots" Martin. Survivors include her two daughters, Gale Messer (David) of Lake Wales and Mary Littleton (Dennis) of Palm Coast; brother, John Partin Jr of Alapaha, GA; sisters, Dorothy Mason of Conyers, GA, and Joyce Hammond of Greensboro, GA; 4 grandchildren, Father Charles Wilson Messer, Daniel Robert Messer, Kelly Denise Davidson and Dennis Clay Littleton and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am Friday, June 29, 2012 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. Dennis Littleton officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
