Fannie Lue Clemons, 71

Fannie Lue Clemons of Lake Wales passed away Friday, February 3, 2023 at George G Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale.

She was born August 22, 1951 in Lake Wales to the late James and Fannie Rhoden. Lue worked as a bank branch manager, then owned and operated a childcare facility, then worked as a postal worker for the United State Post Office. She was a member of Waverly Baptist Church and battled cancer for many years. Lue was devoted to her family and friends.

Lue was proceeded in death by her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Vanessa Williams of Winter Haven, Florida, and Tiffany Corbin and husband Mark of Yulee, Florida; son, Phil Geiger and wife Catie of Land O’Lakes, Florida; grandchildren, Timothy, Zackary, Kimber, Ethan, Emeri, and Elliott; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Britt and husband Scott of Lake Wales, Florida, Rosie Lewis and husband Kenny of Lake Wales, Florida, and Mary Collins of Winter Haven, Florida; and brother, Aubie Rhoden of Lake Wales, Florida.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Waverly Baptist Church with Rev. David Durham officiating.
