Fannie C Brock

Fannie C.”Big” Brock of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013, at her daughter’s residence in Oviedo, Florida.

She was born October 09, 1917 in Bainbridge, Georgia to the late Luther C. and Ophelia (Davis) Dodson and has been a resident of Lake Wales since 1967 moving here from Cairo, Georgia. Fannie was a homemaker, loved to read and crochet and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Wales.

Fannie was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Cecil Brock; daughter, Annis Murelle Brock, son, Nolan Brock

Survivors include her daughters, Ann (Greg) Taylor of Lake Wales, Roslyn (Michael) Brick of Oviedo; sons, Nolan Brock of Lake Wales, Verlyn (Sandra) Brock of Moultrie, GA; 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, Monday, January 21, 2013 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Hooten, Rev. Guy Sanders and Michael Brick officiating. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Monday, January 21, 2013 from 2:00 until service time.
