Everett Francis Lahue, 83

Everett Francis Lahue of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023 at AdventHealth Lake Wales under the care of Vitas Hospice.

He was born May 23, 1939 in Dighton, Massachusetts to the late Everett and Avis Lahue; he moved to Lake Wales from Columbus, Ohio in August of 1994. Everett was a retired telecommunications technician and operator for AT&T in Columbus, Ohio for over 30 years. He loved working in his yard and maintaining his home.

Everett was proceeded in death by one brother; and one sister. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sharon (Hausmann) Lahue; daughters, Ronda Ayers and husband Jerry of Winter Haven, Florida, Kimberly Ann Lahue of Farmingdale, New Jersey, and Deborah Marie Martell and husband Robert of Sarasota, Florida; son, Lance Lahue and wife Julie of West Melbourne, Florida; sister, Donna Silvia of Fall River, Massachusetts; 15 grandchildren; and twin greatgrandchildren on the way.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 4th, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. A private family service will be held later.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his honor can be made to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) or to the Vitas Hospice (vitascommunityconnection.org). Interment will take place at Glen Rest Memorial Estate in Columbus, Ohio.
