Eva Bryan of Lake Wales passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring. She was born January 8, 1924 in Paxton to the late George W. and Anna Hurst; she moved here from Niceville in 1964. She was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a prayer warrior that loved to worship God and singing in church. She enjoyed fishing with Papa and visits from her family and friends. Eva was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Ray Bryan and son, Billy Gill. Survivors include her step-children, Joan White of Tennessee and Patsy Crosby of Winter Haven; six grandchildren, Danny & Lisa Gill, Joe & Jade Gill, Mark Gill, Hollie & Ryan Rutledge, Chris & Kim Baker and Timmy Gill; six great-grandchildren, Aaron Gill, Zach Gill, Jessica Gill, Tyler Ream, Dani Ream and Abby Baker; two great-great-grandchildren, Kasen and Brogan; and nieces and nephews, Barbara Harvard (Donald), Debbie Hurst, Ronnie Hurst, Ricky Hurst and Sherry Tillman. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 9, 2017 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. A.J. Steverson officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
