Euna Vae Byrd of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Lake Wales Medical Center.

Born February 23, 1918; she came here in the late 1940's from Opp, AL. She was a retired sectionizer for Citrus World and a member of Central Avenue Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and helping others.

Euna was preceded by her husband, Millard Byrd, and daughter, Lejuaia Hutchinson. Survivors include her son-in-law, William Hutchinson of Alturas; son, John Byrd of Haines City, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 until service time at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 14, 2008 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
