Euna Vae Byrd of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Lake Wales Medical Center.
Born February 23, 1918; she came here in the late 1940's from Opp, AL. She was a retired sectionizer for Citrus World and a member of Central Avenue Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and helping others.
Euna was preceded by her husband, Millard Byrd, and daughter, Lejuaia Hutchinson. Survivors include her son-in-law, William Hutchinson of Alturas; son, John Byrd of Haines City, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 until service time at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 14, 2008 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be sent to the Central Avenue Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 113 West Central Avenue, Lake Wales, FL 33853.
