Eugene Lee Flannery, 61

Eugene Lee Flannery of Frostproof passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Kindred Hospital in Tampa.

He was born March 4, 1959 in Winchester, Kentucky; he came here from Orlando 39 years ago. Eugene was a mechanic for the citrus industry, and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He loved to fish, listen to music, and enjoyed being on the computer. He loved his children and grandchildren.

Eugene was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Flannery. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Tammy Flannery; daughter, Amanda Lyn Flannery of Lake Wales; son, Daniel Joseph Flannery of Frostproof; mother, Ellen J. Marshall (Charles) of Frostproof; sister, Teresa Tabb (Richard) of Frostproof;  two grandchildren; and many nieces.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Pastor Darrol Hood officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Autism Foundation in the name of Greyson Albritton.
