LAKE WALES--Eugene F. Fisher of Lake Wales died Friday, February 02, 2007 at the Winter Haven Hospital. He was 85.

Born May 11, 1921 in Canton, Ohio; he moved here from Cleveland, Ohio in 1953. He was the owner/operator of Colorcrete Corp. He was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Winter Haven and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was also a member of the V.F.W. of Lake Wales, enjoyed golfing and was a stamp collector.

Mr. Fisher was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Fisher in 2004. Survivors include his daugher, Karen and Raymond Martin of Lake Wales; daughter-in-law, LaDonna Fisher of Babson Park; sister, Mary Jane Althar of Fernandina Beach; grandchildren, Kristi Beaudua, David Fisher and Danielle Fisher; and 1 great-grandchild.

Private graveside services will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lake Wales Library, 290 Cypress Garden Lane, Lake Wales, Florida 33853.
