Ethel R. Alderson

Ethel R. Alderson of Frostproof passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale.

She was born March 14, 1922 in Herrin, IL to the late Jesse L. & Dessie McFadden; and she came here from Davison, MI in 1971. She was retired from General Motors and a member of the First Baptist Church in Frostproof. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and the Women's Club.

Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Richardson and husband, Ray Alderson. Survivors include her son, Marion "Joe" Johnson of Fort Myers; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Frostproof.
