Esther Arlene Henry

Esther Arlene Henry of Lake Wales passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at the Winter Haven Hospital.

She was born November 1, 1925 in Marion Center, Pennsylvania to the late Clair and Gaye Griffith; and moved to Florida from Michigan 27 years ago. She retired from K-Mart as a cashier, and is a member of the South Lake Wales Church of God. Those who knew her loved her smile and sweet spirit.

Esther was preceded in death by her son, John Henry of Michigan.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Ralph M. Henry; daughter, Bonnie Zehm of Winter Haven; three grandchildren, Jan Acdan, Kanani Briggs, and Jolee Hart; seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on July 5, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the South Lake Wales Church of God. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gideons International (Post Office Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0800).

The family will recieve friends immediately following the service for light refreshments at the church.
